Our world has been changed immensely by the Internet. There are a host of websites offering vast amounts of material to support the spiritual journey. Here are some you may want to investigate.
Center for Action and Contemplation - offers many resources for the spiritual journey, including daily reflections by Richard Rohr (which you can have sent to you by e-mail each day).
Creighton Online Ministries – offers daily reflections, online retreats, material for daily prayer and numerous other resources.
Creo en Dios! – a blog written by Susan Stabile, a Catholic spiritual director and retreat director; daily spiritual reflections and occasional podcasts
Dignity USA: Breath of the Spirit – offers “spiritual and liturgical resource for our members and potential members. Nothing can replace your chapter or other faith community, but we hope you will find further support here for integrating your spirituality with your sexuality and all the strands of your life.”
Gratefulness.org – the site of the Network for Grateful Living. Contains some wonderful short prayer practices, talks and videos, and much more.
Ignatian Spirituality.com – “information on and experiences of Ignatian spirituality from Jesuit and Ignatian sources around the world.”
Intentional Disciples Blog – “A group blog devoted to the baptismal call, spirituality, gifts, vocations, ministry, work, history, theology, evangelization, formation, bad jokes, and pastoral support of lay Christians seeking to live their faith in the 21st century.”
Loyola 3-Minute Retreats – invites short “retreats” from your computer; daily suggestions for prayer
Merton Institute for Contemplative Living – offers weekly reflections and other resources.
Sacred Space – offers daily prayers and commentaries on the daily readings.
Silent Insight - offers daily reflections focused on living in the present and drawing closer to God on a moment to moment basis.
The Christian Left – “The Christian Left holds that social justice, renunciation of power, humility, forgiveness, and private observation of prayer (as opposed to publicly mandated prayer), are mandated by the Gospel.” The site has articles, book lists, videos and a discussion board.
